Funeral Rates and Requirements

The Islamic Center of Daytona Beach offers a range of services to assist families. Our funeral services are designed to be respectful and accommodating, adhering to Islamic traditions and guidelines.

Funeral Service Package

$6,500.00

All rates are subject to change and may vary based on individual circumstances or co-providers' asking prices. For detailed information or to discuss specific needs, please contact us directly.

The package includes:

  1. Funeral Home expenses.
  2. Transfer from Hospital/Home to the Funeral Home, Masjid, and Cemetery.
  3. Ghusl (body preparation). Families may perform the Janazah washing themselves if they wish.
  4. Grave land, preparation, and materials.

Kafan (Shroud) Requirements

The family typically provides the Kafan (new white flat sheets), ideally funded from the estate of the deceased.

For Women

1 queen-size & 3 full-size new white flat sheets

For Men

3 full-size new white flat sheets

In the Event of a Death

Provide the deceased's full name, gender, date and location of death, and the responsible person's contact details.

The funeral director notifies the Imam, President, and Secretary.

Contact the body-washing team and discuss the timing of Salat al-Janazah.

Burial space is assigned and communication is maintained with all parties.
